The 2024 Cappadocia International Balloon Festival takes place Thursday 8th August – Sunday 11th August.
To register for the 2024 Festival please complete the following form below. Applications close on 1st April 2024. All applications will receive formal approval from the Flying Committee by 30th April 2024.

Balloonist Application and Approval Process
Demand from Balloon Teams to attend the Cappadocia International Balloon Festival always exceeds the number of balloons we can safely and comfortably accommodate. For 2024 we have an online application process to manage both registration and accreditation.
Flight information
We are thrilled to welcome you to the Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024, where you'll have the opportunity to soar through the skies above one of the world's most breathtaking landscapes. Below, you'll find important flight information to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your crew:
Sunrise Flights: Experience the magical sunrise over Cappadocia as you take off early in the morning and glide through the dawn-lit sky.
Special Events: Stay tuned for special events and competitions designed to showcase your piloting skills and creativity.Sunrise and sunset flights typically last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, depending on weather conditions and air traffic.
Special events may have varying flight durations, so be sure to check the schedule for details.Launch sites will be designated within the festival grounds, providing ample space for safe take-offs and landings.
Each launch site will be equipped with facilities and support staff to assist you and your crew throughout the flight.

Cappadocia's weather can vary, so it's essential to monitor local weather forecasts and conditions before each flight.
Balloon flights are subject to weather restrictions, and decisions regarding flight cancellations or delays will be made by festival organizers in consultation with local authorities.Safety is our top priority. Please ensure that your balloon and equipment are properly inspected and maintained before each flight.
Pilots and crew members must adhere to all safety protocols and regulations outlined by festival organizers and aviation authorities.Pilots are required to register with festival organizers prior to participating in any flights.
